The Food Supplement Directive

The Food Supplement Directive is due to take force in August 2005, and yet more legislation affecting supplements and CAM is on the horizon.

The Alliance For Natural Health & HFMA have both brought legal challenges, which were heard in the European Court of Justice in January- and the Advocate General has given his opinion that several aspects of the FSD are illegal. So what does this mean to Health Practitioners and their practice?

THE VITAMIN E DEBATE

Facts & Fictions

The evidence for Vitamin E as a powerful antioxidant with reductions in risk for heart disease, some cancers, and a possible protective effect in Alzheimer's is indicated in many large studies: yet there is only media coverage for negative findings, often inaccurately reported.  So what are the facts?

Here we have brought together links to authoratitive articles on all sides of the current debate, to inform and advise.
